Old New Camera

Nearly two years ago I bought a new camera. Having a well-paid job (it's over now) and old dreams.

I took several photos here and there during the months, but the camera was mostly unused.

It is too big and heavy to take it everywhere, I thought.

Which was, of course, an excuse for my laziness and hesitating.

Hesitating?

Going out with my camera, it felt like being a photographer. Which I'm not (said my inner voice). So, am I a faker? What the hell IS being a photographer, after all? I know, I know - these are silly thoughts.

I realized, there is no drama, I do not have to be a photographer, and it doesn't mean I'm faking something.

An experiment with zoom motion blur that made my flowers explode.

Pure kitsch, but I can't help it :)

Who cares who I am - photographer or not? I'm enjoying it! A lot. This is part of my journey not to take myself seriously and have fun!

PS: Everyone is a photographer!

PPS: I'm looking for software to use. Years ago, I bought Aperture from Apple, but they killed it. Lightroom is about monthly payment and cloud - no thanks. I'm looking for no cloud, no subscription, and a decent price (I'm not professional, and I'm not planning to become one). Do you have any recommendations?
